Six months from September
The consistent pattern. Two verified roles at one international bank are six month internships dedicated to students or recent graduates, starting in September. A domestic adviser runs a six month on site internship starting as soon as possible.
Open to recent graduates, not only students
One Milan posting is explicitly open to students or recent graduates. In markets where an internship is tied to university enrolment, that distinction closes doors; here at least one employer keeps it open.

The market is a mix of the Italian arms of international banks and domestic advisory houses, and both run the same six month shape.
